MINTEX TAKES THE LEAD IN NASCAR BUSCH SERIES
Our experience shows teams who try Mintex don't go back

Mintex “F” compounds are now used as the pads of first choice in NASCAR Busch Series as well as Nextel Cup. At Martinsville across Cup and Busch 45 cars used Mintex and at Richmond it was 37 cars. The total field across both series is around 85 cars and discounting the “House Teams” Mintex is regularly used by 40% to 50% of teams with a free choice. Our experience shows Teams who try Mintex don’t go back. At Richmond we had the winner plus multiple first 10 places.

New this year but gaining rapid converts is F6 compound; a lower torque version of F2 with a very similar performance curve. Drivers using F2 front and F6 rear experience no transfer across the axels and get predictable very controllable braking. Once tried they don’t go back….
